Re: Continue Screen & Sub-app Pause Menu Question

Okay a couple of more questions about the sub app.

That example you showed me in the link makes a pop up window version of a pause menu. Can I have a pause menu within the main game, and still pause the main app?

One thing I noticed about the sub app is that it does NOT work when you run current frame. It only works when you run the entire application, which is kind of annoying IMO. For example if I had multiple frames, and just got on the level frame, I'd have to keep doing that every time just to test the sub app thing. @_@

Do the event thing I said, and untick the "Pop-up window" in the sub app properties. And since the sub-app relys on another frame and you are only running one specific frame it doesn't load any other frames.
Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

Get around it by adding a couple of global events to skip to a specific level.

Re: Continue Screen & Sub-app Pause Menu Question

Well...... When I uncheck "pop-up window" in that pause menu example, it does bring up the sub app within the main app. However, it does NOT pause the main app. It only pauses the main app is the sub app is a pop-up window. Is this a glitch, or what?

Anyway, I made up a pause menu of myself using the sub-application. However, I used it in reverse. The sub application takes place of the main game application, making it a mian-application object. The results seem to work in an odd way. Although I can't seem to make a "fade" effect work every time I want to pause it. It just "appears". I want it to have a fade effect every time I activate the pause menu.

You can move the object with the arrow keys.
