Adding external binary files wont worj

    Hi,
well after several yaears now I need for the very first time to embedd external files to app.
I add the file using "Add" in Binary data and then in app use (its music file) expressions and enter the name of file.
But when run on different machine, it cant open the file. What Im doing wrong?
    Thank you

It doesn't need to be if it's being embedded.

No, but it doesnt matter - I add reference in Binary data, so when run in MMF2 its fine. But I need to include the file in the one EXE.

And Im using "Include external files" option of course.

Do you use the build 248? As there was a compatibility issue between this option and the embedded bindary files in previous builds. This option doesn't affect embedded binary files, it only includes the other external files and unzip them in a temp folder at start.

How do you play this music file? With the standard sound object or with other objects?

I need to make an exe with a few zip files included with the exe the Zip file object doesn't appear to be compatible with this feature of including external files. Can this be fixed? I get empty files in the same folder as my exe.
