screen catpure object

I can get this to output to the clipboard, but haven't been able to get it to save as a file

this is what I'm doing:
upon pressing enter
set area origin
set area dimensions
capture fram area
set file name to (I put a path and a file name, tried it without and without using .bmp)

I think you have to set the file name before the capture action.
