    Vertical movement lag

This is a problem I've tried countless times to solve and though I've gotten close I've never found a foolproof way to do it.

In a platformer game, standing on vertically-moving platforms is really buggy. Visually, the character lags behind the coordinates of the platform. If it's moving up, his feet are inside the platform, and if it's moving down, he floats just above it. The faster the platform moves, the greater this difference is.

Is there anyway to "solve" this issue?

If you're using the platform movement or the Advanced Platform Movement object then yes, this is a problem... If you create a static platform movement with your own events you should be able to create seamless vertical moving platforms.

I am using a static engine... so how do I fix the problem?
