    Question about HWA and upcoming Fullscreen options

    I know that fullscreen doesn't work in HWA at the current moment. But in a game I'm doing in standard mode, I have an option screen where you check fullscreen or windowed for user preference, and then in the event editor I have it switch in the Storyboard Controls events.

    Basically I'm just wondering if that event system will work fine when fullscreen is added into HWA (as in changing resolution at runtime)? I realize that maybe only Yves or Francois would have the answer to this, but I was just curious.

    I'd like to be able to convert my game into HWA if possible without too much rework.

    Yes you can switch to/from full screen, that works in Direct3D mode in the next version.

    EDIT: the only limitation in HWA full screen mode is that you cannot use windowed objects (like buttons, list boxes, etc.).

    Is the Cursor object windowed?

    No, this object works fine (apparently) in full screen mode.

    Are edit boxes considered windowed objects? If so, I should work them out of my game ahead of time.

    Here's a question - is it just their display that won't work, or will they not work at all? I have a habit of using invisible List objects as handy ways of keeping track of information.

    I would expect it to be just the display which doesn't work.

    Can we programmatically switch from fullscreen to windowed mode? So we can have the game screen as fullscreen and the change options screen windowed to get the edit boxes etc?

    Alternatively can we switch between HWA and non-HWA for different frames?
