How can I stop the Scintilla Object from making strange characters when typing with control pressed?

Hey, I'm working on a new extension which will remove these. Besides, it is less buggier, and you'll be able to set up a lot of properties at edittime. One of the really annoying bugs will also be fixed, the tab bug. Pressing tab won't always work. Pretty much unusable for coding.

Can you try to make the horizontal scrollbar only appear when there is a certain amount of characters in the box as well? That would just remove a pet peeve I have...

No, I can't. Sorry. It's not possible, somehow - I don't know why, I think it's pretty stupid, too. Either hide it or show it, that's all I can do. I'll check whether there's an expression to check if characters are cut off the right margin..
