    Changing 001.File to Mfa.

Is it possible to save a 001.File as a mfa.file? I used the 001. to backup my game and I've been using it for a while and need to get it back to an mfa. or else it won't work on my friends comp. Thanks for any help!

Find your file. On its icon right click it. Try and renaming it, that is if it is really an .mfa file.

Eh, that doesn't do anything. I just need to change type of file from a 001.File to a MMF Document. I used the 001. for the backup for my game, but now I need it to be the main file.

Rename it to .mfa, save it as a new mfa. Backups will be creating accordingly as you save.

    game.001 rename to game.mfa

If your windows is hiding the text after and including the full stop, go to a browser and click --> tools --> folder options --> view --> and untick 'hide extensions for known file types'

    Good luck.

Maybe 001 is a backup program, and camelman don't use build-in backup feature in MMF?

    Re: Changing 001.File to Mfa.

Ah, I didn't know I had to save as and make a different name for it before it would transfer the file to an mfa. And Darkhog, the 001 IS a backup file and thats exactly why I'm using it ^^
