    Qualifier's ROCK but...

    I've finally started using qualifiers, and it has made a HUGE difference in the speed and ease of developing my games.

    I read a thread where it was mentioned that one may be able to select an active object by alterable value. Can someone clarify how that works, because thus far, I can't find any way to do that.

    If Aterable value of your Object =(whatever)

    well, yeah, but that's not what I mean...

    for that to work, you must already know which object to test.

    I can't find the thread now, but there was mention of actually picking the active object by alterable value, much the same way qualifiers work. It's entirely possible that I mis-read it.

    You put a qualifier on everything and test that qualifier.

    yeah, that's how i'm doing it now... I think I may have miss understood something in that thread I can't find...

    But yeah, as it stands, that's what I'm doing now.

    Qualifiers need replaced with Classes.

    Doesn't the newest version of the Select Object Extension have that capibility?
