Hoping to see the new update soon with the fullscreen or resize to fit fixed![]()

I'll upload it today, yes resize to fit is fixed.

Sounds terrific!

Wow, I just noticed that Knytt Stories now works in HWA using software mode - In HWA 2c, tiles wouldn't display at all in hardware mode, and the player would fall through the tiles of the first screen in software mode - Now, the hardware mode behaves like the old software mode, and the new software mode works perfectly. The problem was something with adding backdrops at start of frame.
Ah... this new version (#3d) is just what I was hoping for
When I select "Resize display to fill window size" the graphics are ever so slightly blurry, whereas in the previous beta (Beta 2) they were unchanged, just resized. And I'm not using any pixel shaders either.
Also just noticed that my main character in the game suddenly has a motion blur following him. It's brief but very noticable.
I don't actually have a problem with this though, does anyone get what I get?

The beta #3d of the MMF2 HWA is available :
MMF2 Standard
MMF2 Developer
TGF2
Fixes
- HWA runtime : resize to fill window size now works.
- HWA runtime : PixelShaderVersion expression may return incorrect values.
- HWA runtime : click on object not working correctly when the hot spot of the object is not in the top/left corner.
- HWA runtime : in full screen mode the border was flashing when the frame was smaller than the window.
- HWA runtime : crashs after frame fade in transitions if the frame contains collision events.
- HWA runtime : effect not working in gradient quick backdrops.
- HWA runtime : strings and counters in text mode not displayed in sub-apps with "Display as sprite" checked.
- HWA runtime : image parameters work in frame effects.
Plus all the fixes described in the post about the normal version in the MMF2 forum.

Hmm... I may have selected the resample option by mistake, I'll check or I'll add an option for that. When I select "Resize display to fill window size" the graphics are ever so slightly blurry, whereas in the previous beta (Beta 2) they were unchanged, just resized. And I'm not using any pixel shaders either.

Awesome!
Yves I see this is still a known issue, I wonder if you have any idea for a workaround to this? I mean, what is causing this, is there any way to avoid this like use one layer for everything, etc?Originally Posted by Yves

Great, thanks!
The flashing in full screen mode still seems to occur for me, though.
Resizing the display surface works fine, but when "Run while minimized" isn't checked, the whole frame gets screwed up, probably because the texture buffer still contains old data for the old resolution..?
