Great job for this release (249)

I develop from time 2 time in J2me and i wonder if it was possible to retreive few very usefull functions in the mobile runtime.

- Retreive mobile parameters/values (screen size, Mime file compatibility (for sound), date etc...).

- Be able to use also the form display (vs canvas mode)

- Be able to use http connection (get/post)

2 Questions more

1) Is the RMS (to save data) efficient at this time ?

2) When i dezzip the jar i find the png in the root directory but i was unable to open them with my image editor (photofiltre studio or psp). What's the real format of the images ? Png ...?! i don't understand why i can't edit them

The pictures are protected in the JAR you cannot edit them.
- Screen size : good idea.
- Form display : no you cant. MMF works with a Canvas that's all. I cant reprogram everything.
- HTTP connexion. Maybe in a future update.

you're right about the form display even if i think we can easily switch from one mode to the other one; we will be able to simulate it with canevas when we will able to use interface object (edit box, list, buttons etc.)

Pictures are protected. I don't understand how but it's good think to securise our work

Hopefully we see Live Reciever and MooSock converted here shortly.

I know Ross is working on the Moo objects as I type this, but it is a big job.
