Help with MP3 on Direct Show Object

Recently I discovered that the Direct Show object can play mp3s. However, I am not very advanced in my knowledge of Multimedia Fusion, so I cannot figure out how to make it stop. The mp3 plays across frames, and the stop condition only exists for the frame the original object was on. How do I turn off the Direct Show object on other frames?

There is a property 'Global' for the direct show object, it should only play the music across frames if that property is enabled.

No, I want to get the mp3 to stop playing on a frame other than the original.

If you have identically-named Direct Show objects on other frames that are also global, you should be able to use the "Stop" command on the DirectShow object on the frame to stop the music.
