    The Lab

im working on the lab game and for some reason when i run the application the ball goes through almost every brick and only hits some of them. then when the ball goes out of play area it doesnt give me another ball even though i have 3 lives. it just stops. it doesnt even go to the highscore page. what do i do?

Are you sure you followed the instructions for making the game?

If you post your file in the file archive I am sure we can figure it out in a snap.

Hi Arianna, the brick problem might be a little issue where they are being automatically set incorrectly?

Remember to destroy the ball when it leaves the playfield. You should then use the create object to recreate the ball on the field.

As Jeff says if you can upload a file example that would be helpful.

    Re: The Lab

In your brick object somehow you have a bunch of intial directions for your brick.

If you go thru on your brick and change intial direction to just 0 or to the right --->
