    Help in Multimedia Fusion!!

    Allright, so Im .. well ... short of new on this thing.. And with some help from others Ive managed to build an OK game. Now there is a detail I really cant get to work.. Its simple enough, I got 2 animations (1 meteor and 1 explosion appearing were the meteor hits the ground). But I want to loop this. So the way I have made this is that I made a path movement on the meteor, and I told multimedia fusion to restart the meteor when it hits the explosion area, and then I want the explosion animation to start one time. But I cant manage to get this explosion to work more than one time.. When the meteor comes again, no explosion appears.. This is how Ive made it:

    Start of Frame - Stop Animation Explosion
    Collision Meteor and Explosion - Start Animation Explosion

    And then I have added:
    Have animation Explosion ended? - Switch to frame 0 (or pretty much tried everything here..)


    Its hard to explain, but does anybody know why this aint working? I think it should work in theory :s

    Also remember Im pretty new :P Im not in for all these fancy values and gravity and stuff :P So plx help :]

    Would adding: Only one action when event loops help?

    Collision Meteor and Explosion - Start Animation Explosion
    + Only one action when event loops

    Where can I find this "Only one action when event loops" ? :p

    and btw, shall the animation be "On Loop" ??

    It's ok to loop the animation,you just want to start it once every time the collision takes place.

    Right click the event number.
    Add Condition
    Click on Special (computer icon)

    You will find it there.

    I am also uploading an example to the forum and my website. It included a message box.

    Ah, yeah found it But it didnt work The Explosion continues to loop after the first collision..

    One way may be to create the explosion at the proper place, then destroy it after the animation stops.

    By the way, sorry about the former post. I did not upload an example for this discussion. I got my posts a little mixed. Brain leakage, a little old now for multitasking on the forums.

    Well, I dont want to destroy it all the time, I want it to stop after the animation is done, then restart again when the meteor hits it once again.. Meteor's path movement is on loop..

    but I think I got another idea instead, so if this is for advanced people, Ill try it in a few months instead in another way :p

    Oh, you are using path movement for the effects. Dah...spaced on that. I was more focused on the explosion than the meteor.
