    I went ahead and deleted 99% of events (and censored most of the graphics because I'm secretive about my work).

    The problem persists and the .mfa is here for viewing:

    I got 60+ frames after changing the following event from:

    +Always
    {Set Internal Flag 9 Off]

    to

    +Always
    +Internal Flag 9 is On
    [Set Internal Flag 9 Off]


    Right-Click and 'View Image' to make it larger.

    That's because doing that makes the event never trigger, and so the background doesn't even re-position itself.

    I'm trying to do the exact same thing, so it would be nice to find a solution (I want to have a parallax background or two behind the 'backgrounds', but keep it on a single layer so that it can run at 50 fps)
