    Active vs. Backdrop for collision?

    I'm using custom movement (fastloops that check for overlap) and just wondered if there is a cpu advantage to checking for overlap against a backdrop. Up until now, I have only been making games with limited collision, so I was using active objects.

    Hi mobichan. I wold think backdrop would be most effecient in regards to cpu advantage.
