    Simple problem, BIG headache. (Example Included)

    I don't even know how to really begin to explain the issue I am having here.

    Download the small example above and it should be extremely quick to see what it's supposed to be doing, as opposed to what it's actually doing.

    Here we have objects that are supposed to be riding around bricks, stuck to the side of them. When the hit a brick, they change direction to ride on the new brick, when they're off any bricks, they change direction to move back onto the brick, assuring a consistant clockwise rotation around any brick it hits. The problem being though, is the game seems to be WILLINGLY choosing when and when it doesn't want to work. And I say WILLINGLY, because the game, if anything, is being EXTREMELY consistent with the results.

    Please help. The example provided above is completely stripped down to nothing but active objects showing the issue at hand. I would really appreciate some assistance.

    I have no idea what they are supposed to be doing. All I see is 3 active objects with boxes on each side of them running around the map ocassionally getting stuck on eachother.

    how did you come with the direction values??? what do they refer to?? -1, 0, 1, 2, 3.

    I think i know what you are trying to do. you are trying to make automated border crawlers. am i right??

    check you direction travel code to make sure that you have it right. something in there doesn't seem correct to me.
