    Changing Resolution in Runtime?

I was looking around and I wasn't able to find any topics about this, nor did I have any luck in this with MMF2 itself.

Is it possible to actually change the Window size that a game jumps to Fullscreen in?

For example, my games native resolution is 1280x768 which is a 16:10 resolution. This looks great on a widescreen monitor when in fullscreen. However on a 4:3 monitor, it stretches the picture rather then adding bars to the top and bottom. Aspect Ratio option doesn't do anything either.

So what I want to do instead is make it so that based off an INI's option, the game will start in either 1280x768 OR 1280x960. That way if the person chooses to select a 4:3 resolution, the game will run in 1280x960, which based off the size of my frames, automaticly adds beautiful black bars to the top and the bottom rather then stretching it.

I know this was long an elaborate, but I assure you, it's really not as complex of a question as I've made it out to be.

Please, some feedback? Thanks in advance!

    Re: Changing Resolution in Runtime?

This a more complex than you think because not all monitors / video cards support all the intermediate resolutions for each screen ratio.

Try using the new Keep Screen Ratio option. If this option is selected, MMF2 ignores the resolutions that haven't the same ratio as the ratio of the current resolution and it will center the application window in the screen.

As monitors / graphic cards don't support every single intermediate resolutions, you can also select a tolerance percentage to accept resolutions with a slightly different ratio.

    Re: Changing Resolution in Runtime?

But all I'm asking is for a way to switch the game to 1280x960. I'm not asking for a complex solution to my problem. I know how to fix my problem if I can just make it so that the game switches to 1280x960 as an action to a condition I set.

For some reason, Keep Screen Ratio doesn't appear to work.
