Palette in picture editor is messed up

I'm not quite sure what happened to my palette in the MMF2 picture editor. The color selections are messed up. Here's a pic of the palette:

Anybody know? The App is at 16 million colors. Everything worked fine yesterday, I load up MMF2, and now the colors are different. I'm confused.

Anybody know what is causing this?

This palette seems to be the palette of the icons (it's different from the palette of the application). Are you editing an icon or an object?

No I'm not editing the icon, but the active itself. Happens when I try to edit backdrops too. I right click on my player object in the frame editor, pick edit, and in the regular picture editor that is the palette I'm getting.

Here's a better picture to show you I'm in the active object picture editor:

I'm using MMF2 Dev on Vista x64 if that matters at all.

Well, but I already have events with this object. So in order for me to do that, I'd have to go through all of the events and replace it.

And if I create new objects, they all have this palette.

Well I took care of the problem, didn't fix it, but it was a work around going off of what Zabooza mentioned.

Thankfully, the events were behaviors for the object so I just dragged and dropped into a new project and the palette is fixed. Apparently something became corrupted in the original file. I'm not really sure.

    Thank goodness for behaviours :P

In the properties of a frame there is a property called "Palette." Press the edit button. In the window that appears press "Import." Go to MMF's data folder and import defpal.bmp.

Cool! Thank you I didn't know you could do that.
