    The Timer and Machine-independent speed

I have a moving object with a timed stop (that matches music that is playing). Problem is, I would like it to stop in a specific spot every time on all machines. However, with machine-independent speed on the object stops at different points on different PCs. Machine-independent speed on/off makes a difference on my PC. Do I have to work with a different solution other than timer? Or turn machine-independent speed on/off?

    Object speed: 30-50
    Time: 28 sec
    Frame Rate: 100
