    still doesnt work.

    here is teh new file on that i am trying to fix the problem

    I have fixed that glitch

    Also, i am using Vista

    Vista should not make a difference, if you load and save the file in a folder outside the programs folder. I have Vista also and don't experience any problems, so it is not Vista causing the problem(s)

    lol, i saved and loaded in programs folder(i think)
    i had the option "Base Folder" to "Program Folder"

    is that what you mean?

    Yes, a person may have to have admin rights just to use your program. May I suggest just saving and loading INI++ files where your mfa (or application) file is.

    If you are using apppath$+"myini.ini" and the player installs it into the "program files" folder, the only way it will work properly is when the user has admin right or at least the UAC enabled so he will be prompted to start the program as administrator (needs to be set in MMF2 properties, run as "Administrator").

    Yes you should go to C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Roaming\ and create your folder there

    What maVado said is correct. You can use the YASO (Yet Another System Object) to find the "user apps" directory.
