    Trouble with falling

For the passed month i have been working on a game with the demo version of TGF2. Today I installed it and have found a glitch. The character has a platform movement. The gravity is set at 29, the jump strength is at 52. However, when he falls off a ledge (like the character is meant to do in this level) he starts speeding up like he should normally, but then he starts travelling far to fast and the movement locks. I cannot control him to left or right. I have tried making new basic levels of the same principle and same thing keeps happening. I have worked through eliminating the possiblities that it is my programming, and I think i have found that problem lies with the most recent update. I am assuming this as i uninstalled and reinstalled TGF2 without the update and it works fine. However, all my hardwork at making this game has been saved with the update and i cannot open the file in the un-updated version. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks

Sounds like a strange problem - though I think there are slight differences to the platform movement in the latest update compared to the demo. I think that you might have to upload an example file that shows the problem (in the File Archive forum below this one) and let people take a look for themselves.
