Create shortcut?

How do I create shortcut to a file on desktop, for example?
Is there an extension to do this?

The 'File-Folder object' Has the function 'Create shortcut'(under misc)

It looks like you need to use both the File-Folder and YASO object. User: Tiles did an example which I found using the search. But I could not view the code. IT appears there is a process involved you must follow.

I have been trying to make an event, that when a button is clicked a shortcut of a program is put on a desktop. I was trying to make that with the File-Folder object (create shortcut), but with no sucess. I don't know what to put in the "Command line arguments passed to shortcut's target". So what command do I have to use?

Thanks. Although it looks a bit to much for my level of MMF knowledge, but I will try to figure it out

Basically it uses all functions of the create shortcut options from Sphax folder object and turns this into a command line driven app. I did have a problem setting the app to maximize it parsed the info correctly but just didn't seem to do the Maximize action. It creates shortcuts though.
