    Suggestion for next MMF update

I keep accidentally dragging random event cells without even knowing what I've done when I try to scroll quickly down with the right scrollbar in the event editor. This is potentially pretty disastrous, sometimes I move a cell and think, what did I just do?"

Make this a bit more difficult to do. Bigger scrollbar is probably the best solution.

So what's your suggestion? If you keep accidentally dragging random event cells, just undo it (Ctrl + Z). But maybe I'm not understanding something.

Yeah the dragging thing is really handy for duplicating lots of identical sets of events between objects.

You can just drag the events of one object down to another event or even to a different object of similar type.

I'd rather they kept it - there's always "Undo" like Jaffob says.

Definately a very clever, well thought out, time-saving MMF goody.

Accidentally dragging a cell isn't MMF2's fault. I've never had the problem of accidentally dragging it where I didn't want to. If anything, perhaps a "lock cell" button? That way it prevents dragging if you don't want the option.

I'd be quite upset if I couldn't drag events to duplicate them where I wanted, and had to redo them every single time.

Dragging is integral to making things quicker in MMF.

I really dont know what you are doing to accidently drag, i havent done that in 10 years of using the products... so have you got something set up on your mouse?

Yeah I'm not quite sure how that could be happening, since in order to drag an object, you have to hold down the left button. The only thing I can think of is he has a weird mouse setting or something, or isn't clicking on the scroll bar? I don't know.

I think what he means is that in trying to click the right scroll bar, he accidently clicks on the event right next to it. Thinking he's clicked on the scrollbar, he drags down, unintentionally pulling one event action over another and replacing it.

This happens to me quite often, but i can almost always undo the action. So it's all good.

I havent had any problems and I find it necessary to have the draggable cells. This error for the OP is probably just the clumsiness of them or a Laptop mouse and if it is a laptop mouse, I suggest getting a USB mouse.
