    2 platform questions

    I was making a test-game for the custom platform movement tutorial, and I ran into 2 problems:
    First, the character keeps getting stuck in the platforms.

    Second, I have no Idea how to set up that when smooshed between 2 platforms, it's destroyed.

    EDIT: Also, it it possible to have it go up a sloped area?

    Well, smooshed between 2 platforms would require 2 sensors. One at the top, one at the bottom, set slighty 'inside' the sprite. so say, the characters sprite has a pixel worth sticking out on top and on bottom, so that they can fit into even spaces without the 'squish' happening.

    I'd make an example but I'm at work @_@

    As for the slopes I'm not sure. I know PMO handles slopes very well.

    Thanks; "smooshed" works great! However, getting stuck in the objects is still a problem.

    Sorry about bumping, but getting stuck in the platforms happens a whole lot, and is a large problem.

    Are you talking about moving platforms? Like, the player getting stuck in them? You could use the bottom sensor to detect if the player is overlapping a platform, to raise them Y Pixels.

    There are ways to do it, but it depends on how you have your moving platforms set up. Unless they are being controlled by specific X or Y coordinates, I haven't found a good way to do it with PMO.
