I got it to work finally, still a little small bugs I got to fix, but thanks again!

I used the rich edit object...Using a loop, each file scan I used the string parser2 to reverse the text, then used the rich edit object to find the first "/". Then any character after that mark would be deleted & the reversed one more time, than dumped into a column in a listview object.

It is all in one event too!

I'm trying to learn to use the parsing object. Could you post an example of the workaround you found for your problem please ? I'd like to see how string parser and ric edit interact.
