    making a subapp bg transparent?

I was trying to use a subapp for an npc dialogue box. Since I want the shape of the box to be irregular, I was hoping to make the background of the subapp transparent. Is this possible?

Window Shape Objects allows you to use standard shapes like circles, a predefined set of pictures or even an active object as a mask for the frame.

It's a bit silly though in the sense that if you resize your application window (say 2* the original resolution) the mask doesn't follow no matter what, I was told it's "by design". Also it has some glitches that prevented me from using it for my project but maybe it'll work for you.

Thanks. That seems to be exactly what I needed.
