Open local htm file

Howdy there folks,

Quite a simple thing that I'm having trouble with - I feel quite stupid:
opening an html file from the hard disk rather than from the internet.

If I use the URL object, Firefox needs "file:///" infront of the filename but if I try and enter that the program freezes rather than opening anything.

The file object and "execute external program" don't seem to want to open anything other than programs.

I find it the the best way to open ANY kind of program (.html, .txt, whatever) is the use the file-folder object.

all you need to do is get the directory the file is at.
