Question - Running File Direct From Installation

Hello,

first, thanks for the great installer

i have a problem, beside my normal installation files i have a very big file, which i don't want to copy first to harddrive and THEN let it run. it should start DIRECTLY from the installation source. is there any option in clickteam installer to do this? When i use the View/Run option the file always gets copied to the harddrive first. and when i try the "do not install"-option then the file doesn't start.

Hello,

Yes, you can do this with the Pro version of Install Creator. Select your file in the list, select the "Keep file external" option and then select one of the Run options. This file won't be embedded into the installer and will be executed directly from the directory of the installer (or from a sub-directory, according to its path in the source directory).
