    Execute External Program

I'm sorry, this question has probably been asked a thousand times before, but, How can I execute an external program with MMF2? I tried using the "Special Conditions - Execute External program" command, but It didnt work, then I used the File Object, but it still didnt work.

What am I doing wrong? The directory and files were ok, but it simply won't open...

    Help please

What type of external program are you trying to run?
What you did should work fine.

    Re: Execute External Program

I was trying to run another MMF2 application

Does it has anything to do with Administrator stuff?

I was running the App (a game), then when I press "Update", the "Updater.Exe" was supposed to Open

Try using the "Big Box" extension and see if the open url/file option works for you.

    Re: Execute External Program

Ok so the problem was fixed with the SPecial Conditions and the File Object; I had to put the user to Administrator.

Thanks for all the help guys!

    Re: Execute External Program

I find it almost impossible to run applications with long complex commandlines from MMF2. I resort to having to render a Batch file and rin this instead.
