    Path Help

Hi guys. I am new to the forums and have been using MMF2 for school. I am loving it and my game design class . Anyways I need some help I am trying to create my own version of a tower defense game and I wanted to know if there was a way I could create 4 separate paths that different waves( different monsters and simultaneously) would follow. Right now I have like 10 waves and I would very much not like to create a path for each route they need to take and for every monster I create. These waves are all being done on one frame. I hope I gave everything you guys needed to know to help me and thanks for the help.

    Re: Path Help

okay how do I go about using this. do I create a start of frame or always line then set the path nodes, then connect them. Where do I go from there. Would I need four separate advance path movements or can I just use one?

The "Advanced Path Movement" extension comes with a couple of good examples.

    Re: Path Help

okay now I have figured out how to create the paths and get an object to follow it. I am using 4 separate path movements extensions to create four separate paths. Now how do I get like waves of monsters to follow with out using to much memory. It is already using around 100MB and this is just the first wave. I would like 10 rows by 4 marching through, but I can only get 1 to go along the first path I created. Do I just need to clone my enemies and set object to the path?

Also what would be the best way to go about using health for each individual enemy. Same enemies would have the same health, but I don't want to use to much memory with 100 different health bars outside the frame. I am probably already using a ton of memory just for a high school project Oh well I will learn as I go. Thanks for the help guys
