Detecting screen res. and sound

Hi... is there anyway to detect screen resolution (if it is 800x600 or 1024 etc) and if a sound card is enabled or disabled?

I dont know about the sound but if I remember correctly, some extensions allow that, like The Big Box (I remember it could retrieve color depth, so I think it can retrieve resolution too).

Thanks Blizna, unfortunately this extension doesn't retrieve the screen resolution.

The windows control can get the size of the screen horizontal and verticle size and the color depth.
