I don't know if this is a bug in the programming event system, or just a small error in static platform engines. But whenever I set a backdrop as either obstacle, or platform, they both act the very same way. Is this supposed to happen, or are these really suppose to work diferently in custom/static platform engines?

I know they have differentces when using MMF2's built in platform engine, but I'm talking about if one uses a custom static platform engine. Does the creator have to make the static platform engine to work with obstacle types and platform types? or is it just that detecting whether the backdrops are obstacles or platforms are totally missing from the event editor's script handling?
