    Fusion-updater and Vista

I am sure this has been asked before but I can't find an answer. As one of the last persons on Earth, I have bought a laptop with Windows Vista.
Now I can't get fusion-updater to work - it works fine in XP so how do I get it to work with Vista? I love that little program, it makes extension handling so much easier...

    Thanks in advance
    /Mathias

Turn off the UAC and don't listen to the people who suggest to keep it on. It's caused nothing but problems for me and everyone else I know who uses Vista, and is the sole reason for why the operating system as a whole is hated. Turn that off and all your problems are pretty much solved, as long as your PC hardware isn't bad.

Leave it on and run as administrator.

Works fine for me - I have Vista. UAC doesn't really matter either way. Turn it on and run as admin or turn it off and risk nothing.

Could not have put it better myself. UAC sucks. Turn it off.

    Re: Fusion-updater and Vista

I have tried to turn UAC off and to run it as administrator as well as trying to run it as administrator with UAC off.
But it still doesn't work - it hangs after a initalization with a windows error (but Vista doesn't give me any more information more than there is a problem).

    I find this strange...

Oh, now it works. I started the Complex-sunrise program, this updated the fusion-updater from 1.5.0 to 1.5.3 and now it works!
