    Re: Moving Platforms

Oh, I get what you're talking about. That was what I was going to do when I we decided I would have a detector at the feet of the player.

Yet, I want the player to be able to move while she is on the platform, so I I am just going to do something like this:

    (Detector) overlapping (Platform)
    + Set X ("Player") to X ("Player") + Alterable Value A ("Platform")

where the alterable value A is the X speed at which the platform will move. (interchangeable with Y, of course.)

To keep them from just walking off of ledges, I put in invisible active objects that make them turn around (direction + 16), but for some enemies, the walking animation overlaps the detector as they turn around, causing them to REturn around. Then they get stuck. Hm.
Make a "Turn Left" detector and a "Turn Right" detector, and this problem will go away completely.
Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

Hmm. Does the PMO allow for ladders?

Yes, it does but I haven't used it yet. Perhaps I'll figure it out and update my tutorials with it.
