    Sub-Application Problem

Ummmm, yeah. I think it was the release of the latest build of MMF 2 Dev, but Sub-Apps don't seem to work correctly any longer.

More specifically, I used the Sub-App to stretch the size of the application to 640x480, from 320x240. Some monitors don't support 320x240 fullscreen, which is why I want 640x480. So the first frame of the game has a Sub-App that points to the second frame of the game. First frame is 640x480, with a Sub-App with custom size of 640x480, point to frame 2 which is 320x240.

In my game Kung Fu 2 this method to resize the screen worked fine. However, now I cannot build an exe and have this work. When I run the game within MMF2 it works fine, but building an exe, the Sub-App just doesn't display. it acts as if the application ended.

Has anyone else had this problem? Clickteam, please look into this problem!

Send your mfa to Y or F at Click Team so they can have a look at the file and see what is going on with it. I seem to recall that other forum members are also having problems with sub-apps.

Sounds like you are using B249 so be sure you also let them know what build you are expriencing the problem with.

Are you sure the way you close the sup-app isnt the way you end the entire application?

    Re: Sub-Application Problem

I cannot reproduce this problem, your application works fine as stand-alone app. Are you sure you use the latest update of the build 249? This sounds like a bug that has been fixed in a previous update.

    Re: Sub-Application Problem

I just downloaded a newer version ( i guess) of 249 and the problem seems to be resolved.

When I did check for update in MMF2 Dev it said I was up to date, which led to the confusion.

That is because the 249 Version is still Beta.
