Event editor empty?

I was reading through this http://www.clickteam.com/eng/resources/GTM/GTM10.htm and downloaded the examples. Out of all of them, only "Pattern.cca" loads fine. The others work when you run the application, but otherwise in the event editor there's nothing. I made sure that ALL EVENTS and ALL OBJECTS are showing. Why can't I see the events?

I just downloaded the pick.zip to see and I can see some events in it.
Chase the events are in the objects behaviour.

Could be the same for others ones where you can't see events in the main event editor.

I just facepalm'd at myself. I can't believe I didn't notice that.
