Black background, text colour does not change

When I put black background and white text, only text for the headlines, headings are white but the text for the checkboxes do not change to white.

How I fix this?

Also how do I switch from long code registration to short?

To change the text color of the checkboxes you have to unselect the "enable visual themes" option in the dialog box editor.

To switch to short registration codes, just edit the version settings and select the "short codes" option.
