    Peer id issue ?

Hey, sorry I post another thread...But I kinda have a weird issue !

I am trying to set every peer to a specific Id, until I found out about the Peer Id expression...

    So I made a condition :

Always : Count 1 : Set to Peer Id

So I was like happy, I ran the game on 4 different computers, and when I look at the counter with the Peer Id, the number are...Jumping around, like they are looping between the number of IDs...

The number were jumping between 1, 2, 3 and 4 randomly...Why is that happening ? Anyone, Any idea? I did something wrong or is this a bug ?

Thanks, and sorry for posting again !

If there are more than two people in a room, of course that would jump around, as you are not selecting a peer to set the counter to! Each peer has thier own ID, starting at 0.
Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

The expression returns the ID of the selected peer.
You can select peers manually, by looping, name, or ID.
Plus, peers are selected when a message is received (in this case, the sender of the message is selected), and when they leave/join a channel.

    Re: Peer id issue ?

Ohhhhh I see, thanks for the explanations !

So, there is no way of knowing the Id of the current peer ?

    Example :

I join the channel, and a counter shows me my own id...

Any automatic way to do that, or I keep coding this myself?

    Re: Peer id issue ?

"Peer" means someone else on the server. "Self" means yourself. You can't select yourself as a peer, although other people on the channel see you as a peer to themselves.
