No, MMF2 does NOT pack the objects into power of 2 squares. Maybe for MMF3, but not in MMF2.

If it doesn't, this means MMF2 applications will have problems with old video cards that only support power of 2 images?

Hmm... maybe I've misunderstood what you meant.

- MMF2 does resize the images to a power of 2, so it works on any video card.

- MMF2 does not group small images together into a bigger square to save space (I thought you meant this).

sorry for the confusion. I meant some sort of processing, could be resizing, packing or whatever it takes to send to card memory as power of 2 for compatibility, then send back to MMF2.
