Application starts desktop flashes

Have you tried to increase the Iconcache? I'm sure that solves the problem as it did for me years ago when I had XP.

I usually get this after I have minimized a maximized window, and then start a non-maximized program. Not just CT products.

No, I have not fiddled with icon cache - as I expect my customers will not either. The main problem is that if somebody complains about this I can't tell them to go and fiddle with their registry.

Also I just tested a few CT applications (Streetwise, Roly Poly Pumpkin and Special Agent) on my relatively new acer laptop and... they all flash the desktop icons too. Again, other non-CT applications don't do it, not one of them.

What? I can reproduce the falsh on every application and game, CT or not.
Windows XP Home Edition, SP2.

I can't reproduce it with anything else except CT

Win XP SP3 Pro on my work comp and Win XP SP3 Home on laptop.

Hmm well it does happen more often with CT apps.
