    I have Firefox and I use Adblock Plus and it gets rid of 99% of all the layer popups and what so ever

    I've never had problems with mediafire in any browser! But that's beating a dead horse. I'd make sure you don't have any fishy malware lurking in your computer, LB.

    Never had a problem with mediafire in IE7.

    Mediafire is hacking my computer

    Well the ads are normal but this is the first time it tried to install a toolbar. :eek:

    That's weird. I browse with adblock and no-script to prevent unwanted stuff.
