Layers

Ok, so they don't interact, which brings me to my second question. I have 4 layers (we only care about 2, game objects and the overlay redux one). so my chacter fires a bullet (on layer one) and I need it to collide and destroy a section of the overlay redux (layer two). How?

Have you tried using the Layer Object? Not sure if you could get this to work as I haven't used it much, but you can change layers and the like. Worth a look.

afaik the layer object is used for sorting objects, not for switching between MMF layers...
