    Clearing Cache

    Is there a way to clear cache and cookies from within the runtime in MMF2 Dev?

    Re: Clearing Cache

    Yes, but it's certainly not beginner level.

    and it is also not as generic as 'clearing the flash cache'..

    To clear SWF files from mozilla Firefox's cache on NT-windows you must deeply scan all files in all folders which are;
    C:\Documents and Settings\<User_Logon_Name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<alpha-numeric>.default\Cache\

    Then you will need to compare them to the SWF standard; if they are SWF type files you must counteract windows mandatory file locking on each SWF file then delete then.. also at some point before that you will need to kill firefox otherwise it will crash your browser and or your computer.

    If your still feeling up to it here is the other necessary cache paths;

    Firefox Vista:
    %LOCALAPPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<alpha-numeric>.default\Cache

    Internet explorer can have a custom cache path, which is stored in the registry @:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\Cache\Paths
    (including all subsequent child paths)

    .. So yes, i'm sure i cauld do this in MMF, but there are utilities available.. which would save me the trouble :wink:

    Good luck.

    Re: Clearing Cache

    On second thoughts, reading SEELEs' post, maybe I won't make this
