It would be great if someone made an MMF2 extension that did this:

    Andos has done it.

A few examples are in TIFF. That´s OK, just open the files with MMF.

I also found this example that changes the shadows of an object, giving it different texture effects. (I don't know who made it)

The problem is that it asks for a shader called "Normal.fx". I USED to be able to open the file when I had that shader but ever since I re-installed MMF2 I lost the shader and I can't find it anymore... If you have that shader then please upload it for use.

    Here's the file:

ive seen that but that doesnt involve extensions. Plus adding multiple light sources is a pain and will slow it down too much.
We need an extension where you can define light sources, strengths, redius, etc and it affects the lighting accordingly. I guess it would have something to do with pixel shaders

Yeah, i've seen that before. Very impressive, but not extremely customisable and involves defining every corner point of every light-affected object.

I just fixed that by updating a .htaccess value (I hope).
By default my host had no idea what an .mfa file is.
In Firefox I just told it to always use Multimedia Fusion instead of my image manipulation program and forgot all about it.

Glad you liked my old example. I'm aware that it is very difficult to make anything with it other than rectangular shapes and such.

Sadly overlay object doesn't support the new MMF2 ink effects.

Hey Andos, do you think you can turn that into an extension as mentioned earlier in this thread? That would make lighting so much easier.
