Java usage

Hi,
I just started looking into the MMF2 developer Java Runtime.
I was wondering if you could answer some questions.
If I created a Java (mobile) game/app using MMF2 and sold the .JAD .JAR on my website as a download would I need any permission/license from Sun Micro Systems, are there any issues selling a product in their file format?

Also, I have created a test app for my phone but what is the best way to test my app on other handsets i.e. is there a good emulator?
I have downloaded the 'sun_java_wireless_toolkit-2.5.2_01'
and that works fine. But how do I know that my app is going to fit in the screen on other handsets - I'm mainly talking about the variation in different handset screen sizes (128x128, 176x220 etc). I understand I may need to do differnt sizes of my app for different handsets but how do I find this info and how do I test my app for these sizes?

You would not need permission/license from Sun to sell Java programs.

You can find the information using Google. The emulator included in the toolkit can be configured to mimic different phones.
