Where can I get a current virus definition list?

I work for an IT company, and I am designing company based software to install on the client's PC.

I am not making an anti-virus program, but it will scan the list of processes that are currently running, and search file names against a .txt file of the current spyware/malware/viruses, and if it finds something it will alert one of our IT guys via cell phone.

I know how to design it, but I am looking for a list of the most current malicious viruses? I tried googling, but don't seem to get the search I want.

Does anyone know where I may be able to get one from?

You normally don't recognize viruses by the names of the running processes, they are often named identically to other legitime software to be harder to find.

You need to look into the content like a proper antivirus.
