    Re: ActiveX Problems

    Try to use Shockwave ActiveX Control. There is 2 methods:

    EvalScript(string lingoScript); returning a string
    GetCurrentFrame(); returning a integer

    How do I access the results of both?

    Here's the app example:

    The activex extension is powerful but is limited in some areas. Clickteam is aware of the issue. Some activex component developers create there component to work with Visual Basic or Visual C++. That your component worked fine with Visual C++ does not suprise me.

    You are using the same component I was looking at purchasing to use in a video project. I am interested in the problems you are running into.

    I ran into problems with a spreadsheet activex and was able to work with the activex developer to get a special version made to be compatible with MMF activex extension.

    I know Clickteam is very busy and I hope this issue you are discussing will increase its priority on the list. Its costly to purchase an activex component only to find a single critical fuction will not interface with MMF's activex extension and kills your project. I also understand how busy Clickteam developers are also.

    I thought that might be the case, but isn't that what the expression is for?

    Anyway, It doesn't matter that much, as the control trial period has expired, and I will have to download another.
