    Colour Changing

So, basically, there's a section in my game in which I want the background- that is, ALL background objects; obstacle or not- to change colour. I was wondering, what's the best way to achieve this effect?

I tried using the colouriser object, but it's horribly slow over a large area.

You mean like every time you open the game you want it to be a different color?

Uh, no? There was no random element implied.

If I, for instance, wanted the screen to fade smoothly from coloured to black and white, say, for a cutscene, how would I achieve that effectively? I heard somewhere that there was a "pallette object" for this but I can't find it.

Have you tried the Colorizer Extension?

    Yea like what DarkeSoft said

Take a screenshot and make an active object with it. Then copy and edit the panels to your preference
