RickyRombo: Thats odd, it works here the first time I open it up on my computer after a format and reinstall of everything including extensions. Maybe you can replace the old Pathfinding object with a newer one with more features.

The proper release file for the Advanced Path Finding extension does come with examples. Its released by Greyhill. Go though his posts and get the most current download version.
The examples will explain the basics of the object. Once you get your head around it all its actually pretty simple and very powerful. It can handle everything for you with multiple enemys

Here's something that might be worth a mention - there were some simple sort of fake-pathfinding methods in the original Pacman, detailed here, that might come in useful for moving throughout a maze and trying to catch the player. (The whole thing is immense, but the screenshots and explanations in Chapter 4 should give you the idea of it.)
