    Java vitalize or even Flash?

    Hi
I´m writing a spelling game in MMFD version. In my school I´m in charge of a network with PCs running Windows and PCLinuxOS. The Linux machines run Flash and Java applications . If I compile with Vitalize my application does not run on the Linux machines. If I choose Java am I loosing something? Which is the differnce between java and Flash?

Re: Java vitalize or even Flash?

Java and Flash are just different bits of software for running things cross-platform.

The Java version supports more extensions than the Flash one IIRC. Both are much slower than pure executable or Vitalize, but for something simple that shouldn't be noticeable. Flash is also known to be a bit flaky on Linux (in general, not just MMF-created stuff).
